Poetry at The Incubator: where poets meet

0

Sam Woodward, Sam the Poet, and ARTbop Poetry Editor notes the development of another Incubator initiative. This time the focus is poets and poetry as part of  The Writing Incubator.

The inaugural meeting for local poets to meet and share their work was held on the 29th March 2016 at The Incubator in the Historic Village. This was to foster the art of poetry writing; with the opportunity to share, and listen while poets read their poems.

We were inspired by the many forms and styles of writing, arranged across generations, cultural, and the use of various media. Several poems were presented accompanied by music, played and recorded.

From all those who attended, there was an overall feeling that this group wishes to continue on a monthly basis. The time and date are yet to be confirmed.  Note: the meetings are to continue, check with Hella Bauer at the email address below or go to The Incubator’s website.
