So much now happens down at the Black Sheep on the Corner of Plummer’s Point Road and State Highway 2 at Whakamarama in the Bay of Plenty I thought I’d walk you through the complex again.
One or two bloopers in the video so hopefully here’s the right stuff!
- The Black Sheep Bar & Grill is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 9pm
- The Atrium Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm
- The Atrium Art & Artisan Fair is on every last Sunday of the month from 11am to 3pm
- The Jam Sessions are held every second Sunday of the month.
- And Mr Harper’s name is David Harper! Dave Harper and the Mens Shed in the Historic Village created the excellent and useful gallery walls in the Atrium.
An enormous amount of time, work and effort has gone in to creating the physical ambiance at the Black Sheep so that it now provides a platform for many aspects of art and creativity in the local area. There are regular exhibitions of visual art, music and workshops for adults and children. Last night (Thursday 10th October 2019 they held a guitar competition – you’ll find images and video on facebook and check out the upcoming Shirley Ryder Show.
