This Saturday 7th November 2015 the Church Hall on the corner of Otumoetai Road and Clearmont Terrace will be a hive of activity. Tauranga resident Susanne Martin has organised a craft fair from 9am to 12noon.
Susanne says she has had a great response from stallholders so there should be lots to see and lots to buy – so bring your bags! There will young ukulele buskers and an on-site cafe for morning tea.
What’s so special about this craft fair? Susanne is fund-raising for two local community activities: Good Neighbour and Food Rescue. So you’ve another opportunity to support community volunteers and local creatives. Take a look at the recent ARTbop facebook comment posted by ARTbop’s Rotorua correspondent, artitist and art tutor, Miriam Ruberl, about the importance of artists being paid for their work. That also applies to those who create art and art craft. So, here’s another opportunity to do both.
